Star Performances
Silver medal at Pacific Cup VI. One submission, one points win, and the weekend’s highest Jits gain among MVPs despite the loss in the final.
Four matches, four submissions. Perfect weekend at NAGA LA Kids with nothing but finishes.
Gold medal in the Bronx. Two points wins at New York III -- efficient and clean.
Three wins, two by submission. A white belt sweeping his bracket at AGF Atlanta.
Gold medal at New York III NoGi. Two submissions and a points win from a yellow belt out of Gregor Gracie.
Vilar Burke of Nick Diaz Academy earns the weekend's largest Jits gain among spotlighted fighters despite taking silver at Pacific Cup VI. His two wins included at least one against a significantly higher-rated opponent — the kind of quality that the Glicko-2 system rewards more than quantity.
Jonathan Ayala of Gracie Humaita Valencia does what pure finishers do: four matches, four submissions, gold medal at NAGA LA Kids. No scorecards needed. Meanwhile across the country at AGF Atlanta, Liam Elliott Feda of Roberto Traven BJJ goes 3-0 as a white belt. Two submissions and a points win. The belt says beginner. The bracket says otherwise.
The Deep Brackets
Grappling Industries Wisconsin Dells runs the deepest brackets of the weekend with 1,063 matches. Four fighters win six straight in a single division: Alex Katers of Damage Inc, Vicente Castellanos of The Academy Eden Prairie, Jeremiah Recinos of RMMA, and Emmett Riportella of Pride Jiu-Jitsu Academy.

Looking Ahead
The ADCC US Open results will ripple through the California ratings. Five unbeaten records of 20+ wins fell in a single weekend — the kind of correction that the late-March schedule tends to produce as young fighters level up and cross paths for the first time. The circuit heads into April with fresh ratings and a clear message: no streak is safe.
