Terms of Service

By accessing or using Jits.gg ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Jits.gg is a sports analytics platform that displays publicly available tournament results and statistics from youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions, including but not limited to events sanctioned by JJWL, IBJJF, and other tournament organizations. All tournament data displayed on Jits.gg is sourced from publicly available tournament brackets, results pages, and registration lists.

To create an account on Jits.gg, you must authenticate via Google OAuth or email magic link. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

(a) If authenticating via Google OAuth: Your Google account is in full compliance with Google's Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms), including all age eligibility requirements, which currently require users to be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

(b) You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, or you are a parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a minor with full authority to bind that minor to these Terms.

(c) All information you provide is accurate and current.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@jits.gg if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

All tournament statistics, match results, win/loss records, placement data, ratings, and derived metrics displayed on Jits.gg are sourced from publicly available tournament records of public sporting events. Jits.gg maintains sole editorial control over all tournament statistics and derived analytics.

We strive for accuracy in all tournament data. If you believe any data displayed on the Service is inaccurate, you may request a correction by contacting support@jits.gg. We investigate all reported inaccuracies and make corrections where warranted.

Tournament data exists on Jits.gg because it was published publicly by the tournament organizer — we aggregate it, we don't create it. For a full explanation of where our data comes from, how we process it, and our commitment to accuracy, see our About Our Data page.

All analytics, ratings, proprietary metrics (including but not limited to DVI, xMedal, Elo ratings, tier classifications, and segment benchmarks), generated visual content (including stats cards), and the design and layout of the Service are the intellectual property of Jits.gg. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to share Jits.gg-generated stats cards on your personal social media accounts, provided that you do not remove or obscure Jits.gg branding.

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent any restriction or suspension
• Provide false or misleading information during account creation
• Use the Service to harass, stalk, bully, or harm any individual, particularly minors
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically collect data from the Service without express written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without express written permission
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law

Jits.gg may offer scouting report features ("Bracket Spy") and other premium tools that provide analysis of tournament brackets and competitor data. Access to these features may require an account and may be subject to additional terms, usage limits, or fees. Feature availability, pricing, and terms are subject to change.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, we will remove your account data within 30 days. Your fighter statistics page will remain on the Service, as tournament results are public records of public sporting events that exist independently of any user account.

Jits.gg may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." Jits.gg MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Jits.gg DOES NOT WARRANT THAT TOURNAMENT DATA IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE. STATISTICS ARE CALCULATED FROM AVAILABLE DATA AND MAY NOT REFLECT ALL COMPETITIONS AN ATHLETE HAS PARTICIPATED IN.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Jits.gg AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION. Jits.gg'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jits.gg, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights, or (d) any content you submit to the Service.

Jits.gg reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with modified Terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jits.gg regarding the Service.
