Art of Jiu Jitsu claimed 36 gold medals at Orange County Kids 2024, more than doubling every other academy in a dominant SoCal performance. Gracie Barra (16), Atos Jiu-Jitsu (14), Carlson Gracie Team (12), and Alliance (12) battled for the remaining podium spots, while CheckMat (9) and Lansang Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (7) led the second tier.
AOJ's 36 golds in the 162-gold field meant they owned over 22% of all titles — a share of voice that underscored their dominance on home turf. R1NG BJJ (7), Gracie Humaita (5), Sektor BJJ (4), Cleber Jiu-Jitsu Visalia (3), and TRUJITSU (3) all had meaningful medal hauls, but the gap to AOJ was significant.
Orange County Kids continues to be one of IBJJF's crown jewel youth events in California, and AOJ's consistent dominance has made them the benchmark against which every other SoCal youth program measures itself.
